Mission Voices https://web.archive.org/web/20040831012400/http://www.abc.net.au/missionvoices/ This project was developed from a sense that many Australians have not had the opportunity to learn about the history and cultures of Indigenous people in this country. The most appropriate way for this history to be shared is through stories, oral history, the way that our history has been passed down through the generations for thousands upon thousands of years. The Koorie Heritage Trust Inc. is a non-profit Koorie organisation with a commitment to "bridge the cultural gap" and a cultural centre holding extensive collections of art, oral histories and artifacts. The State Library of Victoria also has large Indigenous collections that will experience greater access through the project. The website has been a collaborative project between the two organisations.
